New 4x4 Scavenger Hunt Cards are an easy on the go activity for your little one.  This set was designed to keep little ones busy everywhere you go! Each card has a different person to find.  Your little one can easily flip through the cards and try to find each pictured person.

Six animals that can be found at the zoo are included in the Zoo Scavenger Hunt TWO Cards Set.   The name of each animal is stitched plainly at the bottom of each card to help with reading skills, also!

The Zoo Scavenger Hunt Cards are each made entirely in one 4x4 hooping with no hand sewing required!

Zoo Scavenger Hunt TWO Cards Set Instructions:

NOTE:  IF desired, the eyelet can be skipped and scavenger hunt cards can be used as flash cards.

1. Hoop one or two layers of tearaway or heavy duty water soluble stabilizer (I use Badgemaster for best results).

Center a 5x5" piece of fabric on top of hooped stabilizer.

Stitch first color to secure.

2.  Stitch card item (see below).

Float a second 5x5" piece of fabric BENEATH hooped design, FACE DOWN.

Stitch next color to secure.

Trim both top and bottom layers of fabric as closely to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or stabilizer.

Stitch next color (card satin stitching).

3. Stitch next color (eyelet placement outline).

Trim away fabric inside eyelet placement outline on both top and bottom layers of fabric 1/8" from outline being careful not to cut stitching or stabilizer.

Stitch next color to secure.  Trim away any fuzzies.

4. Stitch final color (eyelet satin stitching).

Remove from hoop and remove excess stabilizer.  Trim away stabilizer from inside eyelet hole.

Cards can be joined with a piece of ribbon or a keychain loop as desired.

You're finished!
