Wipe Mitts were designed as an eco friendly household helper!
These reuseable mitts can be utilized to clean furniture, windows, counters - anything that needs to be wiped!
They are made from soft flannel to protect your furniture.
A terrycloth layers adds absorbency when using furniture polish, window cleaner or other cleansers.
When finished simply toss your Wipe Cloth in the washing machine and it's ready for your next round of cleaning!
The Wipe Mitts are an extremely easy and quick in the hoop project - perfect even for beginners! The Wipe Mitts require 9 minutes or less stitching time!
The Wipe Mitts were designed for two hoop sizes - 5x7 and 6x10.
Each Wipe Mitt is made in one very quick and easy hooping with no other hand sewing required!

Wipe Mitts for the 5x7 and 6x10 hoop (includes pes, jef & hus formats):
Wipe Mitts Instructions:
5x7 mitt - cut 2 pieces of 7x16" flannel and fold in half and press so they are 7x8".
6x10 mitt - cut 2 pieces of 8x22" flannel and fold in half and press so they are 8x11".
1. Hoop one layer of tearaway stabilizer.
Stitch first color (wipe mitt fabric placement outline).
Place a piece of folded flannel on top of outline so folded edge is even with straight horizontal stitching line and remainder of design is cover.
Stitch second color to secure.
2. Stitch third color (terry cloth fabric placement outline).
Cover outline completely with a piece of terry cloth.
Stitch fourth color to secure.
Trim terry cloth as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.
Stitch fifth color (terry cloth satin stitching).
3. Place second piece of flannel on top of first piece so folded edges are even.
Stitch final color to secure.
Remove from hoop. Trim around perimeter of design and remove excess stabilizer.
Turn right side out.
