The latest set of Hand Puppets are the Winter Teddy Puppets!

The Winter Teddy Puppet Set includes the puppet for two different hoop sizes:

6x10 and 5x7.

The largest puppets are sized for the 6x10 hoop and work well for children and small to medium adult hands.

The medium puppets are sized for the 5x7 hoop and work best for small children's hands.

All puppets are made from inexpensive felt and fabric scraps!

The cute details are added via stitching and applique to allow for quick stitching!

Winter Teddy Puppet Set (includes pes, jef & hus formats): 

Winter Teddy Puppets Instructions for 6x10" hoop (Measurements for 5x7"  are given in parentheses.)

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.  Place one piece of 7x10" (6x8) felt on top of stabilizer.

Stitch first color (bear outline).

2.  Stitch second color (pompom fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch third color to secure.

Trim fabric around perimeter of design close to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch fourth color (pompom satin stitching).

3.  Stitch fifth color (hat fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch sixth color to secure.

Trim fabric around perimeter of design close to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch seventh color (hat satin stitching).

4. Stitch eighth color (hat trim fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch ninth color to secure.

Trim fabric around perimeter of design close to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch tenth color (hat trim satin stitching).
