The Santa Bear and Tree Button Covers are the second set in the Christmas Button Cover Series. Thank you to everyone who preordered this series!

 The Santa Bear and Tree Button Covers set is designed for the 4x4 hoop.  Each button cover is made entirely in one hooping with a stitched guideline to make them easy to use with Fabric Covered Button Kits.  I used the Dritz Covered Button Kits. This set includes a Santa Bear and a Christmas tree button cover.  Each button cover is included in two sizes - for the 1 1/2" buttons and for the 1 1/8" buttons.  Simply stitch your button cover out and then assemble your fabric covered button according to the directions included with the fabric button kits.  These buttons can be used on clothing, as hairbow centers, on flip flops or even on barrettes!  Each Button cover takes only 5 minutes or less stitching time and has minimal color changes!

Santa Bear & Christmas Tree Button Covers (includes pes, jef, & hus formats):

 

1. Hoop one layer of tearaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch second color to secure.

2.  Stitch third color (bear head).

Stitch fourth color (hat).

Stitch fifth color (hat trim and pompom).

Stitch sixth color (facial features).

Remove from hoop.  Trim around perimeter of circle stitching right next to stitching.  Remove excess tearaway stabilizer inside design.

Assemble button according to button kit instructions. 

Christmas Tree Button Cover

1. Hoop one layer of tearaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch second color to secure.

2.  Stitch third color (tree).

Stitch fourth color (star).

Remove from hoop.  Trim around perimeter of circle stitching right next to stitching.  Remove excess tearaway stabilizer inside design.

Assemble button according to button kit instructions.
