In The Hoop Card Case

The In the Hoop Card Case is the final set in the In The Hoop Series.

The In The Hoop Card Case for the 5x7 hoop was designed to hold a variety of trading cards!

Sarah likes to use it to store her Webkinz cards!

It is made entirely in one hooping and is incredibly quick and easy to make!

In the Hoop Card Case Instructions:

1.  Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Stitch first color (fabric placement outine).

Place a piece of fabric over fabric placement outline, covering completely.

Stitch second color to secure.

2. Stitch third color (pocket placement outlines).

3.  Place a piece of 6x8" fabric folded in half and pressed so it is 6x4" on top half of design with folded edge even with top horizontal stitching pocket placement line.  and rest of top of design completely covered.

IMPORTANT:  Place a piece of tape completely along the folded edge so the presser foot does not become entangled underneath in future steps.

Stitch fourth color to secure.

4. Place a piece of 6x8" fabric folded in half and pressed so it is 6x4" on bottom half of design with folded edge even with bottom horizontal stitching pocket placement line.  and rest of top of design completely covered.

IMPORTANT:  Place a piece of tape completely along the folded edge so the presser foot does not become entangled underneath in future steps.

Stitch fifth color to secure.

5.  Place a piece of fabric on top of design RIGHT SIDE FACING DOWN, completely covering entire design.

Stitch final color to secure.

6.  Remove from hoop.  Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately a 1/4-1/2" seam allowance and clipping corners.

Turn right side out, turning pockets to inside of design.

Insert cards in pockets.

You're finished!
