 Storybook Miss Muffet Applique Instructions:

1. Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

 Stitch first color (Miss Muffet face fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible, being careful not to cut fabric underneath or stitching.

Stitch third color (face satin stitching).

2.  Stitch fourth color (hair fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch fifth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible, being careful not to cut fabric underneath or stitching.

Stitch sixth color (hair satin stitching).

3. Stitch seventh color (cheeks).

4. Stitch ninth color (cap fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch tenth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible, being careful not to cut fabric underneath or stitching.

Stitch 11th color (cap satin stitching).

  Stitch 12th color (cap bow).

5.  Stitch 13th color (spider web, legs, and body fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 14th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible, being careful not to cut fabric underneath or stitching.

Stitch 15th color (spider satin stitching).

6. Stitch 16th color (eyes).

Stitch 17th color (smile).

7.  Stitch 18th color (cheeks).
