Storybook Carriage Applique instructions:

1. Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

Stitch first color (wheels).

Stitch second color (crown carriage topper and carriage base).

2.  Stitch third color (pumpkin carriage fabric placement outline).

Cover completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch fourth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath. 

Stitch fifth color (carriage satin stitching).
