The 4x4 Star Baby Appliques were designed to coordinate with the Star Baby Scatter Softies.  They are just the right size for embellishing baby blankets, towels or burpies.

4x4 Star baby Applique Mini Set (includes pes, jef & hus formats): 

Star Baby Applique (for plain Star Baby, skip final step).

1.  Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

Stitch first color (star baby fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch third color (star baby satin stitching).

2.  Stitch fourth color (face).

Stitch fifth color (eyes, mouth).

Stitch sixth color (cheeks).

3. Stitch seventh color (pumpkin stems).

Stitch eighth color (pumpkins).
