Your little Softies will be tucked in snug in this InTheHoop Softie Baby Bassinet!

The Softie Baby Bassinet design is sized for the 6x10 hoop.

The actual dimensions are 141.6 x 238.4 mm.

It is made completely in the hoop except for one small seam which is sewn shut by hand upon completion.

The 5x7 Softies Dolls and/or Softies Animals will fit well into the Softie Baby Bassinet.

PLEASE NOTE:  Softie Dolls and Softies Animals

are NOT included

in the Softie Baby Bassinet.

Softie Baby Bassinet Instructions:

1 piece of 7x15" fabric, folded in half and pressed so it is 7x7.5"

2 7x11 pieces of fabric

1 7x11 piece of thin batting

2 8" pieces of ribbon less than 1" wide

1.  Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.

2.  Place one 7x11" piece of thin batting on top of stabilizer.

Place one 7x11" piece of fabric RIGHT SIDE UP on top of batting.

3.  Stitch first color to secure in place and add horizontal fabric placement line.

4.  Stitch second color (pillow applique placement line).

5.  Add a scrap piece of fabric on top of pillow applique placement line so outline is completely covered.

Stitch third color.

6.  Trim pillowcase fabric as closely as possible to pillowcase applique placement line stitching being careful not to cut stitching.

7.  Stitch fourth color (pillow satin stitching).

8.  Add folded piece of fabric on top of design so folded edge is even with the horizontal fabric placement line (folded fabric will cover small portion of bottom of pillow).

9.  Stitch fifth color to secure in place.

10.  Stitch sixth color (left hand top ribbon handle placement line).

11.  Add one piece of ribbon so 1/4' extends to left side of design and stitch seventh color to secure in place.

12.  Stitch eighth color (left hand bottom ribbon hand placement line).

Place bottom of same piece of ribbon so 1/4" extends to the left side of design.  Stitch the ninth color to secure in place.

13.Stitch tenth color (right hand top ribbon handle placement line).

14.  Add one piece of ribbon so 1/4' extends to right side of design and stitch eleventh color to secure in place.

15.  Stitch twelfth color (right hand bottom ribbon hand placement line).

Place bottom of same piece of ribbon so 1/4" extends to the right side of design.  Stitch the thirteenth color to secure in place.

16.  Add one piece of 7x11" fabric on top of stitched design, RIGHT SIDE FACING DOWN.

17.  Stitch the final color to secure in place.

18.  Remove from hoop and trim around perimeter of design leaving 1/4-1/2" seam allowance.  Turn right side out.  Whip turning opening shut by hand.

19.  Insert Softie Doll or Animal under blanket.
