The SnuggleSack School Bus was designed for the 5x7 hoop.  It is made from one hooping from inexpensive felt.   It has a grosgrain ribbon strap and will fit both Snugglesack Sam or Snugglesack Sue. (Snugglesack Sam and Snugglesack Sue softies are sold separately.)

Snugglesack School Bus Instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (felt placement outline and ribbon placement lines).

Cut a 12" piece of ribbon.

Place one end of ribbon centered on top of left hand ribbon placement line so approximately 1/2" of cut end extends below ribbon placement line and remainder of ribbon extends outside design area.

Stitch second color to secure.

Repeat with other end on right hand side.

Stitch third color to secure.

2. Cover entire design with a piece of felt.

Stitch fourth color to secure.

3.  Stitch fifth color (wording).

Stitch sixth color (lights).

Stitch seventh color (window and hood stitching).

4. Float a second piece of felt UNDER hooped design, covering design area completely.

Stitch final color to secure.

5. Remove from hoop.  Trim both felt layers and stabilizer layer approximately 1/8" around perimeter of design being careful not to cut ribbon strap. I cut one layer at a time for best results.

Carefully trim top layer of felt and stabilizer from inside window, approximately 1/8" from stitching being careful not to cut stitching  or back layer of felt.
