Sue's Snuggle Sack Instructions
1. Hoop one layer of tearaway or water soluble stabilizer.
Stitch first color (sack fabric placement outline).
Cut two 5x14" pieces of fabric. Fold each in half and press well so it is 5x7".
Place one piece of folded fabric on top of sack outline, so folded edge is even with straight stitching line at bottom.
Stitch second color to secure.
2. Stitch third color (face opening outline).
Trim both layers of fabric INSIDE face opening outline as closely to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stabilizer underneath.
Stitch fourth color (face opening reinforcement stitching).
3. Stitch fifth color (Face opening satin stitching).
4. Place second piece of folded fabric on top of first with folded edges even.
Stitch final color to secure.
5. Remove from hoop and trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4" seam allowance.
