Rainy Day Duck Applique Instructions:

1.Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

Stitch first color (duck feet).

Sttich second color (duck fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch third color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch fourth color (duck satin stitching).

2. Stitch fifth color (umbrella handle).

Stitch sixth color (wing).

3.  Stitch seventh color ( umbrella fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch eighth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch ninth color (umbrella satin stitching).

4. Stitch tenth color (beak).

Stitch eleventh color (eye, smile).
