The Charm Pack Quilt Square applique is sewn completely in the hoop.  It uses 3 charm pack fabric pieces (or 3 5x5" pieces of fabric).  

All piecing is done in the hoop for an easy quilt look!

Charm Pack Quilt Square Instructions:

1. Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

Stitch first color (background fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

2.   All of step two pieces will be sewn from the second charm pack fabric. 

Stitch third color (sm. triangle fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch fourth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch fifth color (sm. triangle fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch sixth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch seventh color (sm. triangle fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch eighth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch ninth color (sm. triangle fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch tenth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

 3. All of step three pieces will be sewn from the third charm pack fabric. 

Stitch 11th color (lg. triangle fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch 12th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 13th color (lg. triangle fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch 14th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 15th color (lg. triangle fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch 16th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 17th color (lg. triangle fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch 18th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

4.  Stitch 19th color (first section satin stitching).

Stitch 20th color (second section satin stitching).

Stitch 21st color (third section satin stitching).
