The Polka Dot Scatter Baby Softies were designed for the 5x7 and 6x10 hoop.  These quick and easy to make softies are made in one hooping with just one small seam to be closed by hand after stuffing.

Polka Dot Scatter Baby Softies Instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.

Center a 6x7" piece of fleece on top of hoop for 5x7 Softie.

Cut a 7x9" piece of fleece on top of hoop for 6x10 Softie.

Stitch first color to secure.

2. Stitch second color (face).

Stitch third color (cheeks).

Stitch fourth color (eyes).

Stitch fifth color (smile).

 3.  Stitch sixth color (first color dots).

Stitch seventh color (second color dots).

Stitch eighth color (third color dots).

Stitch ninth color (fourth color dots).

Stitch tenth color (fifth color dots).

4.  Place a second piece of fleece same size as first on top of hooped design, covering design completely.

Stitch final color to secure.

5. Remove from hoop.  Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4-1/2" seam allowance and clipping curves and corners well.

Turn right side out. 

Stuff with polyfil.

Stitch small seam opening closed by hand.
