Pilgrim Girl Applique

This sweet little pilgrim girl is available in three sizes for the 4x4, 5x7 and 6.25x10.25 hoops!

The large design is great for tshirts, sweatshirts or jumpers.

The smaller one is perfect for a tee or tote.

Pilgrim Girl Instructions:

1. Hoop your stabilizer/apparel item as desired.

2.  Stitch the first color (face fabric placement outline).

3.  Lay a scrap of flesh colored fabric on top of stitching and stitch the second color to secure.  Carefully cut fabric as close to stitching outline as possible without cutting stitches (I like to use sharp curved scissors).

4.  Stitch the third color (face satin stitching).

5.  Stitch the fourth color (nose).

6.  Stitch fifth color (hair).

7.  Stitch sixth color (collar outline stitching).

8.  Lay a scrap of white colored fabric on top of stitching and stitch the seventh color to secure.  Carefully cut fabric as close to stitching outline as possible without cutting stitches (I like to use sharp curved scissors).

9.  Stitch the ninth color (Collar satin stitching and cap outline stitching).

10. Lay a scrap of white colored fabric on top of stitching and stitch the tenth color to secure.  Carefully cut fabric as close to stitching outline as possible without cutting stitches (I like to use sharp curved scissors).

11.  Stitch the eleventh color (cap satin stitching).

12.  Stitch the final two colors (cheeks and facial features).

You're finished!
