Patriotic Pup Instructions:

1. Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

Stitch first color (pup fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch third color (pup face satin stitching).

2.  Stitch fourth color (hat fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch fifth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch sixth color (hat face satin stitching).

3.  Stitch seventh color (star shaped eye spot).

Stitch eighth color (collar).

Stitch ninth color (eyes and nose).
