Kutie Panda Towel Tag Series

 

The Kutie PandaTowel/Washcloth Set is the third set in the Kuties Towel/Washcloth Series.  Thank you to everyone who preordered this series!

The Kutie Panda Towel Tag is just in time for summer fun!  Eliminate the arguing of whose towel is whose for either the bath or the pool by color coding them with Towel Tags.  Each towel tag has a ribbon hoop for easy hanging.  The Towel Tags button onto any size towel.  The Towel Tag is made completely in one hooping with no other hand sewing required.  Simply sew two large buttons onto your towel and button it on!  The Kutie Panda Towel Tag was designed for the 5x7 hoop.  

 Eliminate the arguing of whose washcloth is whose by color coding them with Washcloth Tags.  Each washcloth tag has a ribbon hoop for easy hanging.  The Washcloth Tag is made completely in one hooping with no other hand sewing required.

Kutie PandaTowel and Washcloth Tag Set(includes pes, jef, & hus formats): 

    Kutie Panda Washcloth Tag Instructions:

1. Hoop on layer of heavy water soluble stabilizer (I use Badgemaster for best results).

Stitch first color (fabric placement outline ).

Place washcloth centered on top of outline so washcloth top extends approximately 1 1/2" above top of fabric placement outline and outline is completely covered by washcloth.

Stitch second color to secure.

2.  Stitch third color (ribbon loop placement line).

Cut a 9" piece of ribbon and fold in half to form a loop.  Place centered over ribbon outline with approximately 1/2" of ribbon cut ends extending inside design  circle below ribbon outline, and loop extending outside design circle.

Stitch fourth color to secure.

Tape ribbon loop down so it does not become entangled in presser foot in future steps.

3.  Place a piece of fabric on top of fabric placement outline, covering completely.

Stitch fifth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or washcloth underneath.

Stitch sixth color to further secure.  Trim any fuzzies.

Stitch seventh color (satin stitching).

4.  Stitch eighth color (panda ear fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch ninth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

 Stitch tenth color (panda ear satin stitching).

4.  Stitch 11th color (second panda ear fabric placement outline).

  Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 12th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

 Stitch 13th color (second panda ear satin stitching).

5. Stitch 14th color (panda face fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch 15th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 16th color (panda face satin stitching and eye fabric placement outline.).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 17th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

 6.  Stitch 18th color (eye satin stitching and second eye fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 19th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

 7. Stitch 20th color (second eye satin stitching).

8.  Stitch 21st color (eye whites).

9. Stitch 22nd color (pupils, nose, mouth). 

10.  Remove from hoop.  Remove excess stabilizer.

You're finished!

 

 Kutie Panda Towel Tag Instructions:

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

 Stitch ninth color (second panda ear satin stitching).

5.  Stitch tenth color (panda arm fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 11th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

   Stitch 12th color (panda arm satin stitching).

6.  Stitch 13th color (second panda arm fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 14th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

  Stitch 15th color (second panda arm satin stitching).

7.  Stitch 16th color (panda body fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 17th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

  Stitch 18th color (panda body satin stitching and panda foot fabric placement outline).

8.  Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 19th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

9.  Stitch 20th color (panda foot satin stitching and second panda foot fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 21st color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

10. Stitch 22nd color  (second panda foot satin stitching and eye fabric placement outline.).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 23rd color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

 11.  Stitch 24th color (eye satin stitching and second eye fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch 25th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

 12. Stitch 26th color (second eye satin stitching).

13.  Stitch 27th color (eye whites).

14. Stitch 28th color (pupils, nose, mouth).

15.  Float a second piece of fabric FACE DOWN under hooped design, covering design completely.

Stitch 29th color to secure.

Trim both top and bottom layers of fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or towel.

Stitch 30th color to further secure.

6. Stitch 31st color (buttonholes).

7.  Stitch 32th color (towel tag satin stitching).

Remove from hoop.

Stitch two large buttons (3/4 - 1") onto towel spaced the same as buttonholes.

Button on towel tag.
