The Panda Scatter Softies are the final set in the Scatter Softies Series.

The Panda Scatter Softies are designed for the 6x10 hoop and 5x7 hoop.

Made from inexpensive fleece, these softies are each made entirely in one hooping with just one small seam to be sewn shut by hand upon completion!

Small buttons or flowers may be sewn on by hand if desired.

Panda Scatter Softie Set (includes pes, jef & hus formats):

 

1. Hoop one layer of cut away stabilizer.

Place a 6x9" piece of fleece (7x11" for 6x10Softie) on top of hooped stabilizer, centered.

Stitch first color to secure.

2.  Stitch second color (first ear fabric placement outline).

Place a piece  of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch third color to secure.

Trim fabric close to outline stitching being careful NOT to cut outline stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch fourth color (ear satin stitching - bottom only).

3. Stitch fifth color (second ear fabric placement outline).

Place a piece  of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch sixth color to secure.

Trim fabric close to outline stitching being careful NOT to cut outline stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch seventh color (ear satin stitching - bottom only, facial features).

4.  Stitch eighth color (bamboo shoots).

5.    Place a second piece of fleece on top of hooped design, covering completely.

Stitch final color to secure.

6.  Remove from hoop. 

Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4-1/2" seam allowance.

Clip corners and curves very well.

Turn right side out.

Stuff with fiberfil as desired.

Sew small seam opening closed by hand.

You're finished!
