The 5x7 Owl Sewing Caddy is made completely in one hooping with no hand sewing required!

Sit this little guy alongside your sewing machine to keep all of your sewing supplies handy. The front has four small pockets to hold a measuring tape, seam ripper, needles, etc.  There is also a larger back pocket.

The 5x7 Owl Sewing Caddy has only 9 color stops and requires only 9 minutes stitching time!

Owl Sewing Caddy Instructions:

1. 

1. Hoop one layer of tearaway or cutaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (owl fabric placement outline).

Cover outline completely with a piece of fabric.

Stitch second color to secure and to stitch pocket placement outline.

3.  Cut two 6x6" pieces of fabric and fold in half and press well so they are 6x3".  

Place one piece of folded fabric on top of owl outline so folded edge is even with straight horizontal pocket line and lower portion of owl is completely covered.

Stitch seventh color to secure and to stitch pocket dividers.

Place second folded piece of fabric on top of first so folded edges are even.

Stitch eighth color to secure.

4.  Place a fabric piece on top of design FACE DOWN, covering completely.

Stitch final color to secure.

7.  Remove from hoop. Trim around perimeter of design, leaving approximately 1/4" seam allowance and clipping corners and curves well.

Turn right side out.

Stuff lightly with polyfil.

Sew small opening closed by hand.

Flip large pocket to back of owl.
