As my website has grown over the past year, it has become more difficult to find basic information on my site.

 

I thought it would be helpful to answer some often asked questions on one easy to find page.

1.  How are my files sent once I have made a purchase?

All files are sent out via email within 8-10 hours of purchase, but usually much sooner unless ordered late in the evening.

2.  What if it's been 8-10 hours and I have not received my files?

If you have not received your files in 8-10 hours, please email me.  Occasionally emails do get lost along the way or are blocked by servers who do not trust the attachments.  Usually if I resend the files as a response to an email from you, they will go through.

There's no need to wait several days to inquire as files are always sent out within 8-10 hours.  If you haven't received them by then, they definitely need to be resent!

3.  Are you going to add instant download to your site?

YES!  We are working on this now.  It is a big undertaking with the current size of the site but we are working on it.

4.  Why do you not include the instructions with your designs? 

I've had a lot of problems emailing instructions with the designs.  Many of my designs (particularly alphabet sets) are already large and can encounter problems with being able to send them.  By adding the instructions (which often have pictures) the files are further increased in size and even more problems arise.  I've found that placing the instructions on the website is the easiest solution for the majority for now.

5.  How do I save the instructions? 

I recommend that you copy and paste the instructions and save them to a file on your computer with the embroidery designs.

You can then view them or print them from your saved file.  You can also copy and paste them in an email and send it to yourself and print the email or save it.  Once instant download has been added to the site, the instructions will also be made available as a download feature.  If you are having difficulty and can not get either option to work for you, just email me, and I will see if we can email the instructions to you. :)  I want to help!

6.  Do you realize your table of contents is five pages long?

Yes, my mother has informed me of this! :)  She is currently working on an entire site face-lift.  The new "look" will include much needed categories to allow the site to be easier to navigate!  Bare with us just a little bit longer!  It's a big job but is top priority at the moment!

7.  How do I subscribe to your mailing list?

Simply add your email address to the box below to be informed of new sets, sales, and specials!

8.  Why does your 3 Day Intro Price sometimes last longer than 3 days?

I guarantee that the 3 day Intro Price will last at least 3 entire business days.  Sometimes they return to the regular price promptly after three business days, and sometimes it takes longer for me to have the chance to make the changes. 

9.  I do not have a paypal account.  Can I purchase with a credit card?

Yes.  When you checkout, you are given the option of paying by credit card even without a paypal account.

10.  Can I have the designs put on a CD and mailed to me?

At this time, we are not offering CDs.  However, we are working on a CD option that we hope to have up and running in the next month or two.

11.  Do your sets ever go on sale?

Yes, we have a sale at least once a month, and usually twice a month.  We also have a Daily Deal page where a different set is placed on sale each evening.  The time the Daily Deal switches to a new set can vary from evening to evening.  There is no set time.

12.  I just realized I ordered the same set twice!  Am I stuck?

Of course not!  Just let me know and I will be happy to give you a credit towards a different set.

13.  My computer crashed!!!  Can I have my designs resent to me?

Yes, BUT.... it takes a significant amount of time for me to look up all designs purchased from you and resend the files. I do not mind doing so at all, and I do not charge a resend fee, however, I do have to work it into my schedule. :)

Please allow at least a week for me to do so.  If after a week, I've not sent them, please do check back with me to make sure they've not been sent and not received or even overlooked.  I try to stay on top of things, but with the large number of requests for resends and the time delay, it is possible for one to occasionally get lost along the way.  I do not mind resending, but after a week, I might occasionally need a gentle reminder. :)

NOTE:  If you'd like to help speed up your requests for resends, you can access your past paypal transactions and send me a list of the transaction numbers along with sets purchased for each. Those who take these extra steps will go to the head of the list! :)

14.  Are you interested in purchasing my original clip art?

At this time, I personally supply all of my own artwork for SewingForSarahEmbroidery.  I currently have more ideas (and requests from customers) than there are hours in the day to digitize them all!  So at this time I do not purchase outside artwork.

15.  Do you sell individual designs? 

No, at this time, most designs are sold only as sets.  As I am committed to keeping the intro price on every set very low, I must add many new sets to the site each week to keep up my volume to compensate for this.  I currently average 70 hours a week working on SewingForSarahEmbroidery.  Sending individual designs would take so much of my time that I would not be able to keep up with the new sets and would have to raise prices.  I prefer to keep the sets affordable for everyone!

On a good note, my intro prices for entire sets are often as low as a single design or two from many other places!  I also have sales once or twice a month to ensure that even new customers have a chance to purchase a past set at a great price!
