The Nativity Appliques Set was designed for the 5x7 hoop.  These jumbo appliques were designed to coordinate with the Nativity Hand Puppets and Nativity Softies (both sold separately).

 Joseph Applique Instructions:

1. Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

Stitch first color (Joseph robe fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch third color (robe satin stitching).

2.  Stitch fourth color (face).

Stitch fifth color (hair).

Stitch sixth color (facial features).

Stitch seventh color (robe trim satin stitching).

Stitch eighth color (headband rope).

You're finished!

Mary Applique Instructions:

1. Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

Stitch first color (Mary robe fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch third color (robe satin stitching).

2.  Stitch fourth color (face).

Stitch fifth color (hair).

Stitch sixth color (cheeks).

Stitch seventh color (facial features).

Stitch eighth color (robe trim).

Baby Jesus Applique Instructions:

1. Hoop item to be appliqued as desired.

Stitch first color (swaddling clothes fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch third color (swaddling clothes satin stitching).

2.  Stitch fourth color (face).

Stitch fifth color (facial features).

Stitch sixth color (swaddling clothes satin stitching).
