Our Moose Finger Puppet is designed for the 4x4 hoop.

It is made from inexpensive felt and is a very quick and easy project!

Moose Finger Puppet (includes pes, jef & hus formats):

 Moose Finger Puppet instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Place a 5x5" piece of felt centered on top of stabilizer.

Stitch first color to secure.

Stitch second color (moose antlers).

2. Stitch third color (moose body fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of moose body, covering completely.

Stitch fourth color to secure.

3.  Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut felt underneath or stitching.

Stitch fifth color (moose body satin stitching). 

4.  Stitch sixth color (eyes, nostrils, mouth).

5.  Float a second 5x5" piece of felt UNDER hooped design.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop. Trim around perimeter of design.
