MoonBeam Babies are made for the 5x7 hoop.  These little softie babies only require 5 minutes stitching time and 7 color stops!  They are made from inexpensive polar fleece in just ONE hooping!  Only one small straight seam is required to be sewn shut by hand upon completion.

There are three different Moonbeam Babies - Star, Heart and Moon.

MoonBeam Babies instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Place a 7x9" piece of fleece centered on top of hooped stabilizer.

Stitch first color to secure.

2.  Stitch second color (face fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline, covering completely.

Stitch third color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to stitching as possible being very careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch fourth color (face satin stitching).

3.  Stitch fifth color (heart, moon, or star on hat and chest).

4.  Stitch sixth color (eyes, mouth).

5.  Place a second piece of 7x9" fleece on top of hooped design.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop.  Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4-1/2" seam allowance.  Clip curves and corners well.

Turn right side out. Stuff as desired.  Sew small opening closed by hand.
