The Mini Purse Pockets are the seventh design in the Dollar Days Five Series.  Thank you to everyone who preordered this series!

We've seen a variety of pockets for purses and thought they were incredibly handy!  A little pocket for each item makes it so easy to change purses! Our 6x10 and 5x7 purse pockets have been well received but you asked for a small size for those little purses!

New Mini Purse Pockets are made completely InTheHoop (4x4 hoop required)!  No other hand sewing is required!

There are two different Mini Purse Pockets. One has a lg pocket on both sides and the second has a large pocket on one side and two smaller pockets on the other.   Make as many of the pockets as you need to accomodate your purse treasures and then simply tie them together for a hand purse insert!

Mini Purse Pockets are made for the 4x4 hoop.

4x4 Mini Purse Pockets (includes pes, jef & hus formats): 

Mini Purse Pockets Instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway or tearaway stabilizer.

2. Stitch the first color (fabric placement outline.)

3.  Place a 5.5 x 5.5" piece of fabric on top of the hoop stabilizer completely covering the outline.

4.  Stitch the second color to secure fabric in place and stitch horizontal pocket placement line.

5.  Fold two pieces of 8 x 5.5 " fabric in half so they are 5.5 x 4".  Place folded edge of one piece of fabric even with horizontal pocket placement line on hooped stabilizer/fabric.

6.  Stitch the third color to secure pocket in place and stitch pocket dividers.

8.  Stitch the fourth color (ribbon placement lines).

9.  Place a 8" piece of ribbon centered over left ribbon placement line so ribbon extends 1/2" beyond edge of fabric outline.

10.  Stitch the fifth color to secure in place.

11.  Place a 8" piece of ribbon centered over right ribbon placement line so ribbon extends 1/2" beyond edge of fabric outline.

12. Stitch the sixth color to secure in place.

13.  Tuck ribbon pieces inside pocket so they do not cross design perimeter.

14.  Place second piece of folded fabric on top of first piece so folded edges are even and bottom of design is completely covered. 

Stitch seventh color to escure. 

15.  Place a piece of 5 1/2 x 5 1/2" fabric on top of hooped stabilizer/fabric FACE DOWN making certain ribbon pieces are tucked in pocket and do NOT cross over the fabric outline (except for the 1/2" extending past at each end). 

16.  Stitch the final color to secure in place.

16.  Remove fabric from hoop, and trim around fabric outline leaving approximately 1/4 - 1/2" seam allowance.

17.  Press well and trn right side out.

Flip top pocket to back of design to create back pocket and to enclose seam opening.

You're finished!
