Our Love Giraffe Finger Puppet is designed for the 4x4 hoop.

It is made from inexpensive felt and is a very quick and easy project!

Love Giraffe Finger Puppet(includes pes, jef & hus formats): 

  Love Giraffe Finger Puppet instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Place a 5x5" piece of felt centered on top of stabilizer.

Stitch first color to secure.

2. Stitch second color (giraffe fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of giraffe outline, covering completely.

Stitch third color to secure.

3.  Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut felt underneath or stitching.

Stitch fourth color (giraffe satin stitching). 

4. Stitch fifth color (heart spots).

  5.  Stitch sixth color (facial features).

6.  Float a second 5x5" piece of felt UNDER hooped design.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop. Trim around perimeter of design.
