The Candy Bar Pocket Bags are an extremely easy and quick in the hoop project - perfect even for beginners! The Candy Bar Pocket Bags require 12 minutes or less stitching time and require no hand sewing!

Harvest/Halloween Candy Bar Pocket Bags for the 5x7 hoop (includes pes, jef & hus formats) :

 

Harvest CandyBar Pocket Bag Instructions:

cut 2 pieces of 4x16" piece of fabric and fold in half and press so they are 4x8".

1. Hoop one layer of tearaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (candy bar bag fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of folded fabric on top of outline so folded edge is even with straight top stitching line and remainder of design is cover.

Stitch second color to secure.

2.  Stitch third color (turkey head).

Stitch fourth color (pumpkin stem).

Stitch fifth color (pumpkin, beak).

Stitch sixth color (turkey wattle).

Stitch seventh color (eyes).

Stitch eighth color (wording).

3.  Stitch ninth color (window vinyl placement outline).
Carefully trim both layers of folded fabric from inside window outline.  Be very careful not to cut stabilizer.

Cover outline completely with a piece of medium weight vinyl.

Stitch tenth color to secure.

Trim vinyl as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch eleventh color (vinyl satin stitching).

4.  Place second piece of fabric on top of first piece so folded edges are even.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop.  Trim around perimeter of design and remove excess stabilizer.

Turn right side out.

Insert candy bar.

You're finished!

 Halloween CandyBar Pocket Bag Instructions:

Cover outline completely with a piece of medium weight vinyl.

Stitch ninth color to secure.

Trim vinyl as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch tenth color (vinyl satin stitching).

4.  Place second piece of fabric on top of first piece so folded edges are even.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop.  Trim around perimeter of design and remove excess stabilizer.

Turn right side out.

Insert candy bar.
