 Today's Fantastic Five is the Space Baby softies.

The Space Baby Softies are designed for the 6x10 hoop and 5x7 hoop.

Made from inexpensive fleece, these softies are each made entirely in one hooping with just one small seam to be sewn shut by hand upon completion!

PLEASE NOTE:  Please ensure that you have the proper hoop size for this set.  The measurements for these designs is 149.6 x 176.9 mm and 101.8 x 176.4 mm.

Space Baby Softie Set (includes pes, jef & hus formats):

 Space Baby Softie:

1. Hoop one layer of cut away stabilizer.

Place a 6x8" piece of fleece on top of hooped stabilizer, centered.

Stitch first color to secure.

2.  Stitch second color (softie face).

3.  Stitch third color (eyes, mouth).

4.  Stitch fourth color stars.

  Stitch fifth color (planets).

Stitch sixth color (planet rings).

Stitch seventh color (planet background).

Stitch eighth color (planet foreground).

5.  Place a second 6x8" piece of fleece on top of hooped design, covering completely.

Stitch final color to secure.

6.  Remove from hoop. 

Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4-1/2" seam allowance.

Clip corners and curves very well.

Turn right side out.

Stuff with fiberfil as desired.

Sew small seam opening closed by hand.

You're finished!

Space Baby Softie:

1. Hoop one layer of cut away stabilizer.

Place a 8x8" piece of fleece on top of hooped stabilizer, centered.

Stitch first color to secure.

2.  Stitch second color (softie face).

3.  Stitch third color (eyes, mouth).

Stitch fourth color (cheeks).

4.  Stitch fifth color stars.

  Stitch sixth color (planets).

Stitch seventh color (planet rings).

Stitch eighth color (planet background).

Stitch ninth color (planet foreground).

5.  Place a second 8x8" piece of fleece on top of hooped design, covering completely.

Stitch final color to secure.

6.  Remove from hoop. 

Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4-1/2" seam allowance.

Clip corners and curves very well.

Turn right side out.
