New FairyTale Softies are made entirely in the hoop except for one small seam which is sewn shut upon completion!

I recommend making the FairyTale Softies from polar fleece for easiest turning.  Instructions can be found at the bottom of this page.

FairyTale Softies Instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of tearaway stabilizer.  Center a 5x8 piece of fleece on top of stabilizer.

2.  Stitch all colors EXCEPT the final color. 

3.  Lay a 5x8" piece of fleece on top of the stabilizer/fabric right side facing DOWN.

4.  Stitch the final color to secure in place.

5.  Carefully cut around outline of Softie, leaving an approximately 1/8 - 1/4" seam allowance.  Clip corners and curves as needed.

6.  Turn inside out.  Stuff with fiberfil as desired.

7.  Stitch opening shut.

You're finished!
