She is eggceptionally fond of the monkeys and driving the zoo train!
The Eggville Zoo set includes the Egg Zoo Animals, a train engine and train car play mats, and a Egg Zoo Animal habitat pocket made with clear vinyl, for stitching to a tote bag, pillowcase or other item to carry the Egg Zoo Animals close by!

This set includes the following:

(The Grizzly Bear egg also makes a great Polar Bear egg when stitching in white instead of brown!)

Eggville Zoo animal Instructions:
1. Hoop one layer of tearaway stabilizer. Stitch the first color (egg outline).
2. Place one small piece of scrap felt over outline stitching.
3. Stitch the second color to secure in place.
4. Stitch all remaining colors EXCEPT the final color!
5. Add a second piece of scrap felt on top of the stitched felt.
6. Stitch the final color to secure in place.
7. Trim around the egg outline stitching and carefully remove stabilizer.
8. Turn egg inside out, stuff and whip opening shut.
You're finished!
Eggville Zoo Train Car PlayMat
2 pieces 6x8" fabric
1 - 7x7" pieces of fabric, folded in half and pressed so it is 3.5x7"
1. Hoop one layer of tearaway or cutaway stabilizer.
2. Stitch the first color (fabric placement outline).
3. Place one layer of 6x8" fabric on top of hooped wss.
4. Stitch the second color to secure in place.
5. Stitch the third color (train car pocket placement line).
6. Place folded piece of fabric over pocket fabric placement stitching so the folded edge is even with the top of the stitching on both sides.
Stitch the fourth color to secure in place.
Carefully trim pocket fabric as close to the pocket as possible without cutting stitching.
Stitch the fifth color (finishing satin stitching and pocket divider).
7. Stitch the sixth and seventh color (wheels)
10. Place a 6x8" piece of fabric FACE DOWN on top of hooped stabilizer/fabric. Stitch the final color to secure in place.
11. Unhoop mat and trim around perimeter of stitching leaving approximately 1/4" seam allowance.
Turn right side out and whip opening shut.
12. Insert Egg Zoo animals in the pockets!
Eggville Zoo Engine PlayMat
2 pieces 6x8" fabric
1 - 4x8" pieces of fabric, folded in half and pressed so it is 4x4"
1. Hoop one layer of tearaway or cutaway stabilizer.
2. Stitch the first color (fabric placement outline).
3. Place one layer of 6x8" fabric on top of hooped wss.
4. Stitch the second color to secure in place.
5. Stitch third and fourth colors (train).
6. Stitch the fifth color (pocket fabric placement stitching).
Place folded piece of fabric over pocket fabric placement stitching so the folded edge is even with the top of the stitching on both sides.
Stitch the sixth color to secure in place.
Carefully trim pocket fabric as close to the pocket as possible without cutting stitching.
Stitch the seventh color (finishing satin stitching).
7.Stitch the eighth and ninth colors (wheels).
8. Place a 6x8" piece of fabric FACE DOWN on top of hooped stabilizer/fabric. Stitch the final color to secure in place.
9. Unhoop mat and trim around perimeter of stitching leaving approximately 1/4" seam allowance.
Turn right side out and whip opening shut.
12. Insert Egg Zoo animals in the pockets!
Eggville Zoo Animal Habitat Pocket
(Stitch several on a pillowcase or totebag so your little one can keep all of her zoo animals close at hand!)
1 pieces 5x5" vinyl
Item pocket is to be sewn onto
1. Hoop item that pocket is to be sewn to with cutaway or tearaway stabilizer.
2. Stitch the first two colors. (branch and leaves)
3. Stitch third color (pocket placement outline).
4. Place vinyl over pocket fabric placement stitching so the top edge is even with the top of the stitching on both sides.
Stitch the fourth color to secure in place.
5. Carefully trim vinyl as close to the pocket as possible without cutting stitching.
Stitch the fifth color (finishing satin stitching).
Insert Egg Zoo animals in the pockets!
