Deluxe Turkey Softies Set

The Deluxe Turkey Softies are designed for three hoop sizes: 6x10, 5x7, and 4x4.

Make the entire trio for a fun centerpiece or a special little one!

Each turkey softie is made entirely in one hooping with no additional sewing necessary except for one small straight seam which is sewn shut by hand upon completion.

Deluxe Turkey Softies are made from colorful cottons and fleece.

Deluxe Turkey Softies Instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Place a piece of fleece 1" wider and 1" longer than hoop size on top of hoop.

Stitch first color (turkey feathers fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of feathers outline, covering completely.

Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely as possible to feathers outline, being careful not to cut fleece underneath or stitching.

Stitch third color (feathers satin stitching).

2. Stitch fourth color (turkey wing fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of wing outline, covering completely.

Stitch fifth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely as possible to wing outline, being careful not to cut fleece underneath or stitching.

Stitch sixth color (wing satin stitching).

3. Stitch seventh color (second turkey wing fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of wing outline, covering completely.

Stitch eighth color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely as possible to wing outline, being careful not to cut fleece underneath or stitching.

Stitch ninth color (wing satin stitching).

4. Stitch tenth color (turkey body fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of body outline, covering completely.

Stitch 11th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely as possible to body outline, being careful not to cut fleece underneath or stitching.

Stitch 12th color (body satin stitching).

5. Stitch 13th color (beak).

6. Stitch 14th color (eyes and smile).

7. Stitch 15th color (waddle).

8. Place a second piece of fleece, same size as first, on top of hooped design, covering completely.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop and trim around perimeter of design, leaving approximately 1/4-1/2" seam allowance.

Clip curves and corners and turn right side out.

Stuff as desired.

Sew small seam opening shut by hand.
