The Deluxe Lion Puppet Set is the second set in the Summer Fun Preorder Series!

Thank you to everyone who preordered this series!

The Deluxe Lion hand puppets are quick and easy to make using applique stitching!

They are made from felt and colorful cotton scraps for the mane and face.

Each puppet is made entirely in one hooping with no other hand sewing required.

The Deluxe Lion Puppet Set includes:

Lion Puppet for the 6x10 hoop

Lion Puppet for the 5x7 hoop

Lion Finger Puppet for the 4x4 hoop

Lion Puppet Instructions:

1.  Hoop one layer of cutaway or tearaway stabilizer.

Place a piece of felt on top of stabilizer, covering hoop completely.

Stitch first color (mane fabric placement outline).

2.  Place a piece of fabric on top of mane outline, covering completely.

Stitch second color to secure.

3.  Trim mane fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful

not to cut felt underneath or stitching.

Stitch third color (mane satin stitching).

4.  Stitch fourth color (face fabric placement outline).

5.  Place a piece of fabric on top of face outline, covering completely.

Stitch fifth color to secure.

6.  Trim face fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible being careful

not to cut felt underneath or stitching.

Stitch sixth color (mane satin stitching and body outline).

7. Stitch seventh color (eyes, mouth, nose).

8. Float a second piece of felt same size as first UNDERNEATH hooped stabilizer/fabric.

Stitch final color to secure.

9.  Remove puppet from hoop and trim around perimeter of design.
