 The Create Your Own Baby Doll Set is the first set in the Be An Angel Series!

The Create Your Own Baby Doll Set is a fun inexpensive alternative to the places where you can take your child to "build" their own animal!

Our Babies are made in the 5x7 hoop from inexpensive cotton muslin.

They are VERY quick and only require three color changes!

Each doll can then be turned and pressed and given (unstuffed) with a small bag of stuffing (fiberfil), a heart button to add inside, and a box of fabric crayons or fabric markers for your little one to create his/her own baby doll!

 Each Create Your Own Baby Doll is made entirely in one hooping and only requires one small straight seam to be sewn shut by hand upon completion - just enough hand sewing for a little one to be fun without overwhelming (or mom or grandma can sew them shut for a very young child).

This set includes both a boy and a girl baby doll for the 5x7 hoop.

Create Your Own Baby Doll Set for the 5x7 hoop (includes, pes, jef & hus formats):

 Create Your Own Baby Doll Instructions:

1. Hoop  one layer of stabilizer.

Place a 6x8" piece of muslin on top, centered.

Stitch first color to secure.

2. Stitch second color (baby doll face outlines).

3.  Place a second 6x8" piece of muslin on top, covering completely.

Stitch final color.

Remove from hoop and trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4- 1/2" seam allowance.  Clip curves and corners well.

Turn right side out and press.

Stuff as desired and sew small opening closed by hand.

Color with fabric markers or crayons (I used Crayon Fabric markers).
