Our 5x7 Construction Worker boy and Construction Worker girl puppets are each made entirely in one hooping.  Each worker is dressed in their hard hate and safety vest!  They are each made in the 5x7 hoop and sized for a child's hand.

5x7 Construction worker Boy & Girl Hand Puppets:

Construction Worker Boy/Girl Hand Puppet instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Place a piece of 6x8" felt on top of stabilizer, centered.

Stitch first color to secure.

2. Stitch second color (face fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch third color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch fourth color (face satin stitching, nose, hands).

Stitch fifth color (facial features).

3. Stitch sixth color (shirt fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch seventh color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 8th color (shirt satin stitching).

4. Stitch 9th color (vest fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch10th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 11th color (vest satin stitching and second side vest fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch 12th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 13th color (vest satin stitching).

5.  Stitch 14th color (hair fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch 15th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 16th color (hair satin stitching).

6.  Stitch 17th color (hat fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of outline covering completely.

Stitch 18th color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

Stitch 19th color (hat satin stitching).

7. Float a second 6x8" piece of felt UNDERNEATH hooped design, covering completely.

Stitch final color to secure. 

Remove from hoop and trim around perimeter of design.
