 The Chocoholic's Emergency Kit was designed for the 4x4 hoop.  It is made entirely in one hooping with no hand sewing required!  An overlapping pocket in the back allows for easy candy filling!  A clear window in the front gives a peek to the contents. Perfect for the chocolate lover!

Chocoholic's Emergency Kit Instructrions:

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway or tearaway stabilizer.

2.  Center a 5x5" piece of fabric on hooped stabilizer.

Stitch first color to secure.

3.  Stitch second color (wording).

Stitch third color (window vinyl placement outline).

Carefully trim away fabric from inside window outline being careful not to cut stitching or stabilizer underneath. 

Place a 5x3" piece of vinyl completely covering outline.

Stitch fourth color to secure.

Trim vinyl fabric as closely to stitching as possible.

Stitch fifth color (vinyl window satin stitching).

4.  Fold 2 five by eight inch pieces of fabric so they are 5x4"  inches and press.

Overlap folded edges approximately 1".

Place on top of design, centered so folded edges are horizontally placed across the middle and entire design is covered.

TAPE securely down so presser foot does not become entangled in future steps.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop and trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4 - 1/2" seam allowance.

Clip curves.

Turn right side out and press edges with iron on low to medium low heat being VERY CAREFUL not to iron over vinyl window..

Tuck chocolate inside back pocket.
