The Charm Pack Button Wallet is made from five Charm Pack fabrics (you may substitute any 5x5" fabrics in place of Charm Pack fabrics.

It is made completely in one hooping with no hand stitching required other than the button!

The Charm Pack Button Wallet requires only 7 color stops and only takes 3 minutes stitching time!

The Charm Pack Button Wallet has an inner pocket and an outer back pocket.  It closes with a button and elastic loop.

Charm Pack Button Wallet Instructions:

 1.  Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (inside wallet fabric placement outline).

Cover completely with a charm pack fabric (5x5") and stitch second color to secure and to stitch heavy fold line and thin pocket placement line.

Stitch third color (elastic loop placement outline).

Cut a 3" piece of narrow 1/8" elastic and fold in half to form a loop.

Place loop centered over placement outline so approximately 1/2" of cut edges are extending outside design area and loop is extending inside design area.  

Tape in place so presser foot does not become entangled in future steps.

Stitch fourth color to secure.

2.  Fold a charm pack fabric in half and press so it is 2.5 x5".

Repeat with a second charm pack fabric.

Place first folded piece of fabric on top of design so folded edge is even wth thin pocket placement horizontal line and remaining design below pocket line is completely covered.  (this is your inside dividing pocket).

Layer second piece of  folded fabric on top of first so folded edges are even (this will be the outer fabric on the inside of your wallet).

Stitch fifth color to secure.

3.  Fold a charm pack fabric in half and press so it is 2.5 x 5". 

 Place folded piece of fabric on top of design so folded edge is even wth previously placed folded pieces of fabric and folded edges are even.  (this is your outside back pocket).

Stitch sixth color to secure.

4.   Place final charm pack fabric on top of design face down (this is your outer wallet fabric).

Stitch seventh color to secure.

Remove from hoop.

Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4-1/2" seam allowance and clipping curves and corners well.

Turn right side out and press well.

Flip top folded piece of fabric to back to form back pocket.

Sew a 1" button to bottom front of wallet in the center.

You're finished!
