These fun finger puppets are sized for the 4x4 hoop!  Using colorful felt, fabric scraps and chalkboard fabric, they are quick, easy and inexpensive to make!

Chalkboard Finger Puppets Instructions:

1.  Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Float a piece of 5x6" felt on top of stabilizer.

Stitch first color (figure fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of figure outline, covering completely.

2.  Stitch second color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to outline stitching as possible without cutting stitching or felt underneath.

3.  Stitch third color (figure satin stitching).

4.  Stitch fourth color (chalkboard face fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of chalkboard fabric on top of face outline, covering completely.

5.  Stitch fifth color to secure.

Trim chalkboard fabric as closely as possible to face outline stitching without cutting stitches or fabric underneath.

6.  Stitch sixth color (face satin stitches).

7.  Float a second 5x6" piece of felt underneath hoop, face down.

Stitch final color (finger puppet outline).

Remove from hoop and trim around perimeter of design.
