Button OnPonytail Felts are a VERY QUICK and EASY and INEXPENSIVE way to jazz up your ponytail or headband elastics!

Each Ponytail felt is made entirely in the hoop.  Each one takes just one minute stitching time and 3 color stops!  They are made from inexpensive felt.

A button is stitched to the ponytail or headband elastics and the Felts just button on and off to coordinate with your favorite outfits!

Instructions:

1.  Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (felt placement outline).

Float a piece of felt UNDER hooped design, face down, covering design completely.

Cover outline on TOP of hoop completely with a piece of felt.

Stitch second color.

Stitch third color (buttonhole).

2.  Remove from hoop.  Trim around perimeter of design 1/8"  from stitching.

Open button hole.

3.  Hand or machine stitch a 3/4 - 1" button onto a headband or pony tail elastic.

Button Ponytail felt onto elastic.

NOTE:  For Flower, you will need to stitch TWO flower designs and then button both onto the same button.
