It is made from cotton fabrics and chalk fabric.
It is designed for the 5x7 hoop.
It is made entirely in one hooping with just one small straight seam sewn shut by hand upon completion.

Birthday Countdown Wallhanging Instructions:
1. Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.
Stitch first color (wallhanging fabric placement outline).
Place a 6x8" piece of fabric on top of fabric placement outline, covering completely.
Stitch second color to secure.
2. Stitch third color (bear fabric placement outline).
Place a piece of fabric on top of fabric placement outline, covering completely.
Stitch fourth color to secure
3. Trim fabric as closely to face outline stitching as possible, being careful not to cut fabric underneath or stitching.
Stitch fifth color (bear satin stitching).
4. Stitch sixth color (chalkboard frame fabric placement outline).
Place a piece of fabric on top of fabric placement outline, covering completely.
Stitch 7th color to secure.
Trim fabric as closely to frame outline stitching as possible, being careful not to cut fabric underneath or stitching.
5. Stitch 8th color (frame satin stitching).
6. Stitch 9th color (chalkboard fabric placement outline).
Place a piece of chalkboard fabric on top of fabric placement outline, covering completely.
Stitch 10th color to secure.
Trim fabric as closely to chalkboard outline stitching as possible, being careful not to cut fabric underneath or stitching.
7. Stitch 11th color (chalkboard satin stitching).
8. Stitch 12th color (bear's hand fabric placement outline).
Place a piece of fabric on top of bear hand outline.
Stitch 13th color to secure.
Trim fabric as closely to bear hand stitching as possible, being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.
Stitch 14th color (hand satin stitching and second hand fabric placement outline).
Place a piece of fabric on top of second bear hand outline.
Stitch 15th color to secure.
Trim fabric as closely to bear hand stitching as possible, being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.

9. Stitch 17th color (muzzle and neck satin stitching).
10. Stitch 18th color (party hat fabric placement outline).
Place a piece of fabric on top of hat outline, covering completely.
Stitch 19th color to secure.
Trim fabric as closely to hat outline as possible, being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.
Stitch 20th color (hat satin stitching).
11. Stitch 21st color (party hat pom pom fabric placement outline).
Place a piece of fabric on top of pom pom outline, covering completely.
Stitch 22nd color to secure.
Trim fabric as closely to pom pom outline as possible, being careful not to cut stitching or fabric underneath.
Stitch 23rd color (pom pom satin stitching).
12. Stitch 24th color (eyes, mouth).
13. Stitch 25gh color (chalkboard wording).
14. Stitch 26th color (ribbon hanger placement line).
Place one end of a 10" piece of 7/8" ribbon on top of left ribbon placement line so approximately 1/2" extends above design.
Stitch 27th color to secure.
Place opposite end of ribbon on top of right ribbon placement line so approximately 1/2" extends above design.
IMPORTANT: Securely tape ribbon down flat INSIDE of design so presser foot does not become entangled in ribbon in future steps.
Stitch 28th color to secure right hand side of ribbon.
15. Stitch 29th color (chalk holder ribbon outline).
16. Place one end of a 12" piece of 1/8 - 1/4" ribbon over chalk holder ribbon outline so 1/2" extends over edge of design.
Stitch 30th color to secure.
17. Tape chalk holder ribbon down INSIDE design.
Place a second 6x8" piece of fabric FACE DOWN on top of design.
Stitch 31st color to secure.
18. Remove from hoop.
Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4-1/2" seam allowance.
Turn right side out, remove tape, and press on BACK of design.
NOTE: Do not press directly on chalkboard fabric.
Sew small seam opening shut.
Tie chalk holder ribbon around a piece of chalk.
