When placed side by side the two necklace halves form a heart.

The Best Friends Forever Set is made entirely in one 5x7 hooping.

Best Friends Forever Necklace Instructions:

1. Hoop 1-2 layers of heavy duty water soluble stabilizer (I used Badgemaster for best results).

Stitch first color (side one outline).

Stitch second color (ribbon loop placement outline).

Cut a 2" piece of narrow 1/8" ribbon and fold in half to form a loop.  Place loop centered over ribbon loop placement outline so approximately 1/2" of cut ends extend inside design area and loop extends ABOVE design.

Secure with tape.

Stitch third color to secure.

2.  Cover entire design with a piece of fabric.  Stitch fourth color to secure.

Stitch fifth color (BFF letters).

3.  Float a piece of fabric UNDER hooped design, face down.

Stitch sixth color to secure.

Trim both top and bottom layers of fabric as closely to design outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching or stabilizer.

Stitch seventh color (satin stitching).

4. Repeat steps 1-3 for second necklace half.

5.  Remove from hoop.  Remove excess stabilizer from each necklace half.  Thread a narrow ribbon through loop on each necklace.
