The Baby Finger Puppet Mini Set is designed for the 4x4 hoop.

It includes both boy and girl baby finger puppets.

They are made from inexpensive felt and are a very quick and easy project!

Baby Finger Puppet Mini Set (includes pes, jef & hus formats):

 Baby Finger Puppet instructions (boy):

1. Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Place a 5x5" piece of felt centered on top of stabilizer.

Stitch first color to secure.

2. Stitch second color (baby body fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of baby body, covering completely.

Stitch third color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or felt underneath.

3.  Stitch fourth color (baby body satin stitching).

4.  Stitch fifth color (baby head fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of baby head, covering completely.

Stitch sixth color to secure.

Trim head fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut felt underneath or stitching.

Stitch seventh color (head satin stitching). 

5.  Stitch eighth color (cheeks).

6.  Stitch ninth color (facial features).

7.  Stitch tenth color (hair).

8.  Float a second 5x5" piece of felt UNDER hooped design.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop. Trim around perimeter of design.

1. Hoop one layer of stabilizer.

Place a 5x5" piece of felt centered on top of stabilizer.

Stitch first color to secure.

2. Stitch second color (baby body fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of baby body, covering completely.

Stitch third color to secure.

Trim fabric as closely to stitching as possible being careful not to cut stitching or felt underneath.

3.  Stitch fourth color (baby body satin stitching).

4.  Stitch fifth color (baby head fabric placement outline).

Place a piece of fabric on top of baby head, covering completely.

Stitch sixth color to secure.

Trim head fabric as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut felt underneath or stitching.

Stitch seventh color (head satin stitching). 

5.  Stitch eighth color (cheeks).

6.  Stitch ninth color (facial features).

7.  Stitch tenth color (hair).

Stitch 11th color (bow).

8.  Float a second 5x5" piece of felt UNDER hooped design.

Stitch final color to secure.

Remove from hoop. Trim around perimeter of design.
