The New Animal Angel Softies are the perfect size for little hands!  Each Softie is made of inexpensive fleece and made entirely in one hooping with just one small seam to be sewn closed by hand after stuffing.

The New Animal Angel Softies were designed for the 5x7 hoop.  Each Animal Softie requires only 3 or 4 minutes stitching time!  I used metallic silver thread on the angel wings for a little bit of glimmer!

TIP:  I use a bamboo knitting needle or a small paintbrush handle to easily turn the softies right side out.

Teddy Bear Animal Angel softie

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway or tearaway stabilizer.

Center a 6x7" piece of fleece on top of stabilizer.

Stitch first color to secure.

Stitch second color (wings detailing).

2. Stitch third color (eyes).

Stitch fourth color (cheeks).

Stitch fifth color (nose).

Stitch sixth color (mouth).

3.  Float a second piece of 6x7" fleece on top of design, covering design completely.

Sttich final color to secure.

Remove from hoop. Trim around perimeter of design leaving approximately 1/4" seam allowance.

Clip curves and corners well.

Turn right side out.

Stuff with fiberfil and whip small seam opening closed.

Puppy Animal Angel softie

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway or tearaway stabilizer.

Center a 6x7" piece of fleece on top of stabilizer.
