The 3 Minute Felt Wallet Folder is the fourth design in the In The Hoop Mini series!  Thank you to everyone who preordered this series!

The 3 Minute Felt Wallet Folder is made entirely in one 5x7 hooping with no further sewing required and no turning required!  This QUICK and EASY design only requires 3 minutes stitching time and no fabric measuring!  It's made from 3 half sheets of novelty printed felt (plain colorful felt can be used as well).

The 3 Minute Felt Wallet Folder has two pockets and a ribbon tie closure.  Fill them with credit cards, lip gloss, post it notes and even tiny gel pens (I purchased my tiny gel pens from Target's Dollar Spot).

3 Minute Felt Wallet Folder Instructions:

Cut 2 pieces of 9x12' felt squares in half so they are 9x6".

Cut 2 - 10" pieces of ribbon.

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (felt wallet folder fabric placement outline and ribbon placement lines).

Place one piece of ribbon centered over top ribbon placement line so approximately 1/2" of cut end extends over ribbon placement line into design area and the long cut end extends outside ribbon design area.

Sttich second color to secure.

Place second piece of ribbon centered over bottom ribbon placement line so approximately 1/2" of cut end extends over ribbon placement line into design area and the long cut end extends outside ribbon design area.

2. Cover entire  design area with one piece of felt.

Stitch fourth color to secure and to stitch pocket placement line.

3.  Place a half piece of cut felt on top of design so top edge is even with pocket placement line and entire portion of design below pocket placement line is completely covered.

Tape entire piece of felt down along pocket placement line so presser foot does not become entangled in pocket in future steps.

Stitch fifth color to secure and to stitch pocket divider.

4. Float one sheet of felt under hooped design so entire design is completely covered FACE DOWN.

Stitch sixth color to secure.

Stitch seventh color (folder middle divider fold line). 

Remove from hoop. Trim all felt/stabilizer layers around perimeter of design  being very careful not to cut ribbon.

Fold in half and tie.  You're finished!
