Each 2 Minute Felt 4x4 Pocket Page is made in one hooping with no hand sewing required!  These very QUICK and EASY pockets are sewn in just two minutes stitching time!  Make as many as you want and tie them together to form a little book to be filled with sewing supplies or other treasures!  Each 4x4 Pocket Page has a pocket on both the front and the back.  Each page has only 5 color stops!

 2 Minute Felt 4x4 Pocket Page Instructions:

Cut 1 square of felt into fourths.

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway stablizer.

Stitch first color (pocket page fabric placement outline and ribbon outlines).

Cut 2  10" pieces of narrow ribbon.

Place one piece of ribbon centered over top ribbon placement line so approximately 1/2" of ribbon end extends inside design and remainder of ribbon extends outside ribbon design.

Stitch second color to secure.

Repeat with second piece of ribbon on bottom ribbon placement line.

Stitch third color to secure.

2. Cover entire design with a fourth of a square of felt.

Float  a fourth of a square of felt UNDER hooped design, covering completely.

Stitch fourth color to secure and to stitch pocket placement line.

Place a fourth of a square on top of design so straight edge is even with pocket placement line and bottom of design below placement line is completely cover (or left side is completely covered for diagonal pocket page).

Float a fourth of a square UNDER hooped design in the same manner to create back pocket.

Stitch final color to secure.

3. Remove from hoop.  Carefully trim around perimeter of page being very careful not to cut ribbons (I cut one layer at a time).

Tie pages together. You're finished!
