2 Minute Felt Plush Pet Carrier Instructions:

You will need:

2 sheets of felt, cut in half so they are approximately 6x9" each.

one 10" piece of 7/8" ribbon

1.   Hoop one or two layers of cutaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (carrier fabric placement outline and ribbon placement handle lines).

Place one end of ribbon on left side of design so cut edge extends approximately 1/2" below ribbon line and remainder of ribbon extends above ribbon line.

 Stitch second color to secure.

Place second end of ribbon on right side of design so cut edge extends approximately 1/2" below ribbon line.

Stitch third color to secure.

2.  Cover entire design with one cut piece of felt.

Float one cut piece of felt UNDER hooped design, covering completely, FACE DOWN.

Stitch fourth color to secure and to stitch buttonhole.

3.   Float a third cut piece of felt under hooped design, covering entire design completely, FACE DOWN.

Stitch fifth color to secure.

Remove from hoop and carefully trim around perimeter of design being careful not to cut ribbon strap.

I cut the top layer first and then the stabilizer and bottom layers of felt secondly.

Stitch a 3/4" button on back inside of carrier so button lines up with buttonhole.

You're finished!
