18" Doll Pet Carrier Set (includes pes, jef & hus formats):

18 In Doll Pet Carrier Instructions:

1. Hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer.

Stitch first color (carrier fabric placement outline).

Cut 2 6x10" pieces of fabric and fold and press so they are 6x5".

Place one piece of folded fabric on top of design so folded edge is even with top straight horizontal line.

Stitch second color to secure.

2.  Cut a 10" piece of narrow ribbon (1/4-1/2").

Slip one end of ribbon between top of folded fabric edge and stabilizer on left side so approximately 1/2" is between the layers and the rest extends outside the fabric.  Tape in place.  Repeat with other end of ribbon on right side.

Stitch third color to secure.

3.  Stitch fourth color (window outline).

Carefully cut away fabric INSIDE window outline, being careful not to cut stabilizer underneath or stitching.

Place a piece of netting or clear vinyl on top of design, covering window opening completely.

Stitch fifth color to secure.

4. Remove hoop from machine but DO NOT remove design from hoop.  Carefully cut away stabilizer from INSIDE window outline.

Trim windown pet screen or vinyl as closely to outline as possible being careful not to cut stitching.

Stitch sixth color (window satin stitching).

5.  Place second piece of folded fabric on top of design so folded edge is even with previous folded edge and entire design is covered.
